What do you do at Flyhomes? I’m a Client Advisor in Seattle.
What did you do before joining Flyhomes? I was a Senior Customer Business Partner at Darigold (analytics, supply chain, logistics, planning).
What’s something unexpected that you’ve learned on the job? How many steps it takes when someone doesn’t get pre-underwritten before putting in an offer on a home.
What’s your #1 tip for homebuyers? Do your homework – this means shop around on various property search websites, different lenders, different agents. You may think you have the best deal until something happens and it’s the complete opposite because you assumed they were the best for your situation.
How do you like to spend time when you’re not working? Traveling, backpacking/hiking, cooking, gardening, playing or watching sports, trying new food with friends.
What’s something about you that surprises people? I used to own an LLC that was a boat party planning business here in Seattle. It included a 4 hour experience for up to 100 people that has fully catered meals and drink service, DJ/music, entertainment and games, plus floaties to jump off the boat and swim around the water.
Pets, plants, or both? What makes you happy at home? Love to garden because I grow vegetables, fruit, and herbs that I use in cooking. Although I can’t wait to get a Husky one day.
What neighborhood do you live in? Where else have you lived? Currently live in Pinehurst, but I have lived in West Seattle (twice), Capitol Hill, and Northgate. Originally I am from New York, though.
What’s your favorite place in Pinehurst? Spill a best-kept neighborhood secret spot (where do the locals go?) Pinehurst doesn’t have much in regards to secret spots as it’s not that big. Locals go to Pinehurst Pub but I would say my favorite place to go in Nori Presto, a Japanese & Chinese food spot with amazing service and good meals.
What do you love most about your home? Top floor of a 4 story condo, we have a private 550 sq ft deck that soaks up all the sunshine all day long (when Seattle lets us have some sun).
