What’s the first thing a new client should know about you?
I used to be a high school math teacher for 14 years and I love the outdoors. Helping people find beautiful homes is so much fun it hardly feels like work!
What are your top 3 pro tips?
- Definitely get pre-approved before you start your home search so you don’t look outside your budget and get disappointed
- Be open to looking at neighborhoods outside of your original criteria. Drive around and see if you can picture yourself living there.
- Make a list of must haves for a home and work from there. Try to be flexible because most likely you will have to compromise on something.
When did you first get your real estate license? What inspired you to get it?
6 years ago. I wanted a career change to something that I’ve always wanted to do. I used to go to the “Street of Dreams” every year to get great ideas and see the most beautiful homes. I really enjoy seeing client’s eyes light up when they’ve found the right house for them.
Do you focus on a special area (such as new builds or investment properties)?
I have personal experience in remodeling homes, so when I do love to find good fixer-uppers. However, I really just like to focus on making the clients happy and trying to find the home that checks off the must have list.
What neighborhoods are you an expert in?
Most cities on the Eastside. Bellevue, Issaquah, Renton, Redmond, Kirkland to name a few.
Where do you live? Why did you choose to live there?
I live in Bellevue and absolutely love it! We love being close to everything, but the best part is all of the trails to explore.
Have you worked in fields other than real estate?
I started out working for Nordstrom for several years selling clothes. I’ve also worked in the window industry and was a high school math teacher.
What are you passionate about aside from real estate?
I love the outdoors. Boating, waterskiing, wake surfing, biking, hiking, swimming, you name it! Anything to get out in the sun and enjoy the beauty of where we live! I also love to travel and explore other countries.
