What’s the first thing a new client should know about you?
I was born and raised in Michigan. I care about providing great customer service and am always open and honest with my clients. I love working to make complex and difficult situations easier to navigate.
What are your top 3 pro tips?
First off, do your prep work. When you’re touring you should know what you can afford and what is important to you. Second, if you’re looking at a home seriously you should be ready to put an offer in on said home. And third, understand the market and learn from any losses you might have. Consider what it takes to win the home and if that is right for you.
When did you first get your real estate license? What inspired you to get it?
I have had my license in the state of Washington since 2017. I have always been interested in real estate as my grandfather and uncle were both Real Estate Agents and Appraisers in Michigan. I enjoy meeting and working with new people.
Do you focus on a special area (such as new builds or investment properties)?
I am open to working on transactions on all kinds of homes but I do have a background with new construction townhomes. My first work in real estate was with a firm specializing in representing builders at their large scale new construction projects.
What neighborhoods are you an expert in?
I am very familiar with the Eastside and have a lot of experience working in Sammamish, Klahanie, Issaquah and Bellevue. I personally really like homes set in the woods and along bodies of water. I’ve helped several families find their dream homes in the Seattle area.
Where do you live? Why did you choose to live there?
I live with my family in Kirkland. We love the ability to access trails, lakes and rivers to enjoy the outdoors. We love our yard and space at our home to build our home gym.
Have you worked in fields other than real estate?
I have worked in a variety of wonderful jobs. Most recently I was the North American Marketing Manager for Pacsafe and before that I spent about five years working in the outdoor industry at MiiR (in Seattle) and Bill and Paul’s Sporthaus in Michigan. I also have worked and volunteered in Elementary Education.
What are you passionate about aside from real estate?
I love the outdoors. I am passionate about enjoying the beautiful state of Washington via hiking, paddle boarding, skiing and trail running. I love taking hikes with my wife and young daughter.
