What’s the first thing a new client should know about you?

That I will do everything, morally, ethically, and legally to help them.

What are your top 3 pro tips?

Address your financing up front. This will help guide you into the appropriate price range of homes and areas to search.

Know what in a home is a must have vs. like to have.

Realize there is no such thing as perfect, so temper your expectations. Homes, like people, have pros and cons. Be flexible.

When did you first get your real estate license? What inspired you to get it?

After a career in IT, I was licensed in 2003. It was the entrepreneurial aspect of real estate that attracted me. Building your own business and helping people really appealed to me.

Do you focus on a special area (such as new builds or investment properties)?

My primary focus is residential real estate with a secondary specialty area in vacant land.

What neighborhoods are you an expert in?

My highest level of expertise would be in the South Bay area, but I’m competent in the Bay Area. That would be north up to Vallejo, east to Tracy, and south down to Monterrey. I’m very familiar with the Santa Cruz mountain area.

Where do you live? Why did you choose to live there?

I live in the Almaden Valley of San Jose. We moved here because of the schools and the proximity to trails, parks, and open space.

Have you worked in fields other than real estate?

I spent the first 20+ years of my career in IT working myself up from developer to Owner/President of an IT consulting company.

What are you passionate about aside from real estate?

Outside of real estate I like the outdoors. I run, bike and hike. I love animals and enjoy gardening.

What do you love about working at Flyhomes?

I love the culture that was built to put the client first.
