Touring with Flyhomes is designed to be convenient, easy, and fun for you. Let’s talk details.
Our Bookings Team and Field Agents are here for you! They’re an extension of your Client Advisor and enable you to tour on a more open basis that fits your schedule. Typically you can tour on the same day. Most of our Field Agents have toured hundreds, if not thousands, of properties!
Most likely, you’ll tour with multiple agents, and they have access to info provided by your Client Advisor. They also have notes about previous homes you’ve toured. And of course they’ll share notes about your tours to keep everyone on the same page.
Communication from our Bookings Team will typically come via email, although they may also reach out via text or phone. Most updates and questions, and all final tour confirmations, will come via email … make sure to add [email protected] to your contact list so the emails don’t go to your spam folder.
Tour appointments are reservations
Each appointment is set for 20-30 minutes for single-family homes. If you’re seeing a condo in a high rise, the appointment will be 45 minutes so you have time to see the building amenities.
Some homes may be vacant, but others may have an occupant (like an owner or tenant) that needs to leave the home for the tour. Either way, a tour requires an appointment be made with the home’s listing agent. The Bookings Team will handle that and coordinate with our Field Agents. If you’re booking multiple homes on the same day, the Bookings Team will also optimize the route and order you view the homes to make driving as easy as possible.
Please arrive on time! If you’re running late, it’s very important that you reach out as soon as possible. Because the tour is a reservation, we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to stay past the allotted time. Your agent may also have an appointment directly after yours. If you’re running late, reach out to the Bookings Team from the email (from [email protected]) that was sent to you confirming the appointment, or call or text 206-202-0069.
We understand that things come up and you may need to cancel or change from time to time. Please be aware that as soon as you submit your tour request, we have started working on it. Multiple changes can become difficult to manage. Also, Listing Agents may deny access to the property if we have submitted multiple cancellations. Be sure that you’re choosing a time that will really work best for you.
Leave your ladders at home! All Field Agents have some inspection training and can answer most questions you might have right away. If there’s something they don’t know, they’ll reach out to other agents (and even a few licensed Home Inspectors) to get you the answers. If you really want to get into all those nooks and crannies, we’re happy to arrange an inspection for you.
Our team has access to school ratings, Walk Score, and other helpful neighborhood information right at their fingertips. Ask for any specific information you’re looking for!
Touring fatigue can happen. We know you’re excited to find a great home, but try not to pack too many showings into a single day. We typically suggest a maximum of about five homes; after that, they can all start to blend together. If you’re in a time crunch, try splitting up the day. Give yourself a couple of hours to reset and reflect on the homes you’ve seen
We’ll make sure your feedback gets back to your Client Advisor! Our Field Agents submit feedback on each home via an internal app while on the tour. Any comments or questions that you have will be submitted directly to your Client Advisor. If you find a home that you want to make an offer on, they’ll let your Client Advisor know right away.
With the world that we are living in currently, each state has put forth a set of rules and guidelines that all real estate agents must adhere to. Please keep in mind the following guidelines.
- No more than two/three (state dependant) people allowed in a home at one time and one must be the agent.
- Practice social distancing, keep at least a 6-foot distance from others
- Doors, lights, and cupboards should be opened only by the agent. If you’d like to see something, please ask and we’ll be happy to help.
- Wear a mask and gloves (our Field Agents will wear them, tooo!)
- Shoe booties are to be worn while inside of the property.
- All homes must have an appointment, even the vacant ones, to ensure you will be able to see a home we highly recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance.
