How We’re Operating During COVID-19

March 30,2020

During this time, home means more than ever, and we’re especially thankful that we get to help people find homes they love. We’re open for business with some adjustments for social distancing and virtual options to help you search for your new home.

Here’s how we’re currently working with homebuying clients in each state where we operate.

If you’re just getting started

Schedule a call or virtual meeting with Flyhomes here, and we’ll talk about your home search and our approach to home buying.

If you’re not quite ready today, but want to prepare to buy in the future, we’ve shared some helpful checklists. You can also register for Flyhomes webinars. To see what’s available, go here.

Washington

This weekend, Governor Jay Inslee announced changes to the activities that we can conduct on behalf of Flyhomes buyers and sellers during social distancing.

We will still be conducting the majority of business virtually, including virtual meetings to limit in-person contact. You can also request a virtual tour of any home through the Flyhomes app (available on iPhone and Android).

In his memo, Governor Inslee allows limited in-person activity that will let in-progress home purchases and sales continue, including document signing, home inspections, and appraisals. Starting March 29, clients can again request in-person tours (limited to one client in the home at a time, accompanied by an agent). For these activities to take place, strict social distancing guidelines will be followed. Please contact your Client Advisor to learn more.

California

Following the orders and guidelines of the state, we are conducting the majority of business virtually, including virtual meetings to limit in-person contact. In-person home tours can be requested through the Flyhomes app, available on iPhone and Android (limited to two clients in the home at a time, accompanied by an agent).

To learn more, please reach out to your Client Advisor or schedule an intro meeting here.

Oregon

Following the orders of the governor, we are currently conducting limited in-person activities in Oregon, including tours, listing appointments, and other activities when they meet strict internal guidelines. Please reach out to your Client Advisor to discuss in more detail or schedule an intro meeting here.

Massachusetts

Following the orders, advisory, and guidelines of the state, we are conducting the majority of business virtually, including virtual meetings to limit in-person contact. For clients with mortgage pre-approval, in-person home tours can be requested (limited to two clients in the home at a time, accompanied by an agent).

To learn more, please reach out to your Client Advisor or schedule an intro meeting here.

As coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be a concern both worldwide and in our local communities, we know you may be thinking carefully about the safest way to continue your homebuying journey.

We’re offering flexible options so that you can choose to meet with your Client Advisor or continue to take home tours, both in-person or virtually. When scheduling a meeting or tour, you’ll be given the option to connect with us virtually at a time that’s convenient for you.

If you do choose to meet in-person, your Flyhomes Client Advisor or Tour Specialist may ask to skip a handshake, as Flyhomes is following CDC guidelines to reduce risk including washing hands, disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, staying home when sick, avoiding handshakes, and rescheduling large gatherings.

We’re committed to our communities and our clients, and Flyhomes is monitoring evolving recommendations actively. Please keep an eye out for updates here on our blog to how Flyhomes is operating in case of a change.

As always, if you have questions or would like to update your meeting or tour, please contact us at (855) 935 – 9466.

We’re here to help.
