This 2 bedroom mountain cabin jewel was rebuilt after a tree fell on it approx. 20 years ago. Compared to most cabins in this area it is more a cabin/ home than just a cabin. It is beautiful inside with a modern kitchen, separate dining room, believe it or not, the living room features a brick fireplace with a wood burning insert plus a propane wall heater. The main floor bathroom has a step in shower, and three new 10-gallon water heaters and is definitely a cut above the usual cabin bathroom. Upstairs are 2 much larger than normal cabin bedrooms, one featuring a little desk/work area and a mirrored wardrobe. A nice little wood deck (I can literally hear it screaming, "enlarge me, enlarge me"). This 1002 sq. ft. beauty sits in a huge fern grotto. It is a very comfortable and well-appointed cabin on U.S. Forest Service Special Use Permit land and as such cannot be financed, cannot be used as a primary residence. Hiking, fishing in the Santa Ana River or Jenks lake, biking are all available and if shopping, entertainment, and fine dining is your thing then Big Bear Lake is just 30 miles up the road. Considering the inhuman heat down off the mountain, cabins have become in high demand so don’t let this one get away from you!
