What’s the first thing a new client should know about you?
I am an educator first and understand the power of educating clients on the home buying process, especially for first-time home buyers! I truly value the relationships and trust built with clients and believe in helping clients find the right home for them through a seamless experience.
What are your top 3 pro tips?
- Get a pre-underwritten letter as soon as you are interested in putting in offers. We cannot submit an offer without one.
- Drive around the neighborhoods you are interested in – this is the one thing you can’t change!
- You will never find a home that checks all the boxes. Be flexible with some of your search criteria and know that in the future you can always renovate/customize your home to your preferences!
When did you first get your real estate license? What inspired you to get it?
As a young kid, I would visit open houses with my dad for fun, and this really sparked my interest in Real Estate. I decided to become licensed in Real Estate, February of 2019 and even have an investment property in Hawaii.
Do you focus on a special area (such as new builds or investment properties)?
I love to find my clients any home that fits their specific needs but specialize in residential properties and new builds.
What neighborhoods are you an expert in?
Because I live in Ballard, I am expert in anything Ballard related (shops, food, parks, etc.), but know the general Seattle area really well. I am a data driven person!
Where do you live? Why did you choose to live there?
Currently, I live in Ballard. I absolutely love Ballard – just the right distance from downtown, good food spots, cute stores on Market, and great access to local parks (Golden Gardens, Carkeek).
Have you worked in fields other than real estate?
Before I came to Flyhomes, I worked in property management for a bit and helped clients find rental properties. But before that, I was an Elementary School Teacher (K-2nd) for over 7 years!
What are you passionate about aside from real estate?
I am passionate about gardening! I love propagating and taking care of my plant babies. I have a lot of indoor plants, and have begun to take my hobby outdoors. I bought my first Maple Japanese Tree a few months ago. Ask me for any plant tips!
